Special Pack Meeting on May 18th.

Cub Scout Leader Roundtable

Posted by: admin on 04/09/2006 11:12 PM
This District Meeting is scheduled every second Tuesday of each month.

Each month, North District Roundtable comes to the rescue with a program for Cub Scout Leaders that includes games, ceremonies, skits, songs, crafts and skills. My favorite group of heroes staffs it. They also let you know of the latest information about district and council events. For the final half hour each month, we break into smaller groups which will be theme and topic related to provide specific ideas and answers. Whether you are a new leader or an experienced scouter, you will enjoy the fun and friendly atmosphere for the exchange of information and ideas.

Location:
First Christian Church
1835 Walnut Street
Carrollton
1 Block north of
Beltline and Josey

A Note to Parents

The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America is to provide boys and young adults with an effective educational program. It's designed to build desirable character traits, train responsible citizens, and develop personal fitness. Through chartered organizations, Scouting provides a year-round program that has helped strengthen young men and their familes since 1910.

In Scouting, boys, families, leaders, and chartered organizations work together toward the following objectives:

  • Influence a boy's character development and spirtual growth.
  • Develop habits and attitudes of good citizenship.
  • Improve understanding within the family.
  • Strengthen a boy's ability to get along with others.
  • Foster personal achievement through new interests and skills.
  • Offer fun and exciting new things to do.
  • Show a boy how to be helpful and do his best.
  • Prepare him for leadership roles in life.
